Insurance/Payment
I believe therapy should be in-range and affordable for as many people as possible. That is my goal.
I am currently licensed and credentialed in New York State (as well as being based there!). I am also licensed in CT, with RI on the way !

Private Pay/Out of Network Options
Out-of-Network
Some insurances will provide coverage for out-of-network providers if I am not part of your insurance. I am able to provide superbills in order to get reimbursed for sessions.
Currently, I use a service called Thrizer, which helps expedite this process. After setting up an account, Thrizer can check your out-of-network benefits. I would charge my full rate, you would pay the full amount, and Thrizer can help get it reimbursed as soon as possible.
Please reach out to your insurance provider and confirm these benefits before our sessions to prevent any surprises or billing issues.
Private Pay/Sliding Scale
Talking about money and finances is hard, and often it can stoke too many feelings and power dynamics in the process. That’s why I've tried to think about a system that is non-hierarchal and also respects what each person brings to the therapeutic relationship.
Below is my payment “Fee Pallette," offering rates between $40 and $200 in increments of $20-40 each. They are all different colors, but each has meaning and is unique in their own way, just as we are all with our own barriers, opportunities, changes, and responsibilities financially.
As we are discussing a private pay option, you can just tell me the color or the rate you can afford (or if we can find a different color for you). Once we establish it, we will re-assess yearly to either confirm, raise, or lower the rate depending upon any new circumstances. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or suggestions on how to make this feel more equitable.
